Cinemini: A Magical First Cinema Experience
A specially created film event for young children and their grown-ups, combining short films, sensory play and creative exploration.
For the Harvest Festival, discover a playful collection of short films inspired by the natural world, where sounds become drawings, travellers become birds, trees change shape and a dog’s tail takes on a life of its own.
After the films, explore a cinematic world of light, colour, shadow, movement and play where children can follow their curiosity and discover the magic of cinema together.

“This is Oink. Oink is the best birthday present I’ve ever had in my life.”
Nine-year-old Babs has always dreamed of having a pet of her own, so she's overjoyed when her grandfather arrives with a little piglet for her ninth birthday. She persuades her parents to let her keep the newly named Oink, and despite some chaotic toilet training, the little pig soon wins everyone over. But Grandpa's gift isn't quite as innocent as it seems. He's hiding a secret… and it involves sausages.
Before the film, join us for a relaxed Eco-Crafternoon celebrating the Harvest Festival. Using an assortment of recycled materials, we'll create real and imagined farmyard animals inspired by the film. Each creation will be filmed in time-lapse as it joins our growing farmyard, building a bustling menagerie of companions for Oink.
